Hi everyone, so we continue our journey with the final phase creation literally.
Here we are! After taking our measurements, choosing the fabrics and imagining the dress of our dreams, we will finally be able to put the pieces together and admire the final masterpiece.
Come on, let’s take this last step, which is the most important because no matter how much you choose the most beautiful materials, if the sewing of the dress is not up to the nobility of the fabrics then you are all in vain.
For my part, I did not want to go too extravagant: Sometimes a little creative touch is enough to bring a caftan to life.
To begin with, I decided to position the tissues as follows:
The velvet for the top, the duchess satin for the bottom, and the metallic silk will sublimate the piece discreetly below the duchess satin as if to create a kind of lining which, when it appears at the bend of a step, will bring the pep that I was looking for this outfit (you see the stuff).
It is often said that “the dress does not make the monk”, yet it is often what determines the first impression that one has of a person, the very image that one emerges very often comes from his dress style.
For me, your creation must correspond to you, discreet, classy, or extravagant, on condition of course to respect some fashion rules to avoid looking like a UFO.
The idea really is to control your look and make sure to mix styles but stick to the prescribed doses to avoid taste indigestion!
If you opt for a simple ladies caftan dresses UAE, be sure to add a few touches that will sublimate it, a slightly offset belt, a pattern that can be added to the fabric.
One of the tips that I literally fall for and also see more and more in our Western wardrobe is the “big rhinestones”.
Of all colors and shapes, they can light up a room in the blink of an eye.
If now you like extravagance and you are a “lady gaga” of the desert, avoid overdoing it, you have to know how to dose and not to leave in an inevitable lack of taste when you start to leave in all directions.
I’m the first to like offbeat things that are out of the ordinary, but you have to know how to master them, so you avoid XXL shoulder pads allied to flashy colors and a studded belt.
So to come back to the creation of my caftan, the idea this time was to create an original but classy caftan, which does not go unnoticed … but which remains discreet.
Once the fabrics and colors have been chosen, we must find the color that will be attributed to the sfifa (silk thread made from silk) and which will adorn our caftan.
To help bring out the colors, I chose a silver type sfifa that pairs perfectly with navy blue and green.
As for the belt, I chose to bring a touch of modernity by using a jeans type belt.
Finally, as we discovered during the last Caftan fashion shows, and which will surely come out again for upcoming Caftan shows, embroidery is put in the spotlight and brings character to the creations.
As the caftan will be mainly made using noble colors, I chose to bring pink, flowery embroidery for a totally girly touch!
Attention to detail and perfectionism are often what makes the difference, little things that make it all.
It is in this spirit that certain patterns will be used on the top of the dress in shades of sfifa (silver).
Here you are, you have seen the dress of your dreams, the most difficult now is to make it clear to your Khiyate (designer) at the end of the street.
And unfortunately the problem with them…. it is to make them understand your expectations, we often have “yes I understand don’t worry” but in the end we have every reason to be worried!!
For others, provide as many details as possible (photo etc …)
Okay with those nice words, I tell you that I have a little gift for you and yes after these different steps and after going to my favorite seamstress I am happy to present to you. The final rendering!!
